Jennifer Frankola Appointed to the Board of Directors for the Irish American Bar Association of New York (IABANY)

Lewis Johs associate, Jennifer Frankola, was recently appointed to the 2015 Board of Directors for the Irish American Bar Association of New York.

A first generation American, both of Jennifer’s parents immigrated to the United States in the late 1950s and early 1960s; her mother hails from County Sligo, Ireland and her father from Istria, Croatia.
Throughout her life, Jennifer has been very active in both cultural communities, in particular, the Irish American community–she was a competitive Irish step dancer, former president of the Irish Law Students Association at CUNY Law School and is a current member of the Brehon Law Society and the St. Pat’s for All parade committee. She provides mentorship to young and aspiring Irish and Irish-American attorneys through her appointment to IABANY.

Established in 1987, the IABANY is a professional organization dedicated to connecting, serving, and celebrating New York’s legal professionals who are Irish born, of Irish heritage or simply interested in all things Irish. For more information about IABANY check out their website at:
