The Spring 2015 Paradigm includes an article written by Jennifer Frankola and Julie Ruggieri. The article discussed the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (also known as IDEA), a federal law protecting children with disabilities to ensure that they receive an appropriate educational services and program in school.

While the IDEA 2004 celebrated a decade, the Lewis Johs Education Group celebrated their five year anniversary. Throughout that time they have assisted and represented hundreds of students and families throughout the impartial hearing administrative process, appeals and federal court proceedings.

As the article aptly states, “obtaining education services is critically important for special needs children…and where a dispute arise, voicing concerns and exercising due process rights is equally as important…”
