Associate Rebecca Devlin Published in The Suffolk Lawyer

Attorney Rebecca K. Devlin was published in the February edition of The Suffolk Lawyer (page 17). Her article titled, “The Value of an IME: To Hold or Not to Hold” addresses the rather reflexive tendency of defense attorneys to hold IMEs in virtually every case and the importance of exercising caution when selecting a physician to conduct a physical examination of a plaintiff if deemed necessary. Also, the article discussed arguments to be raised against allowing a non-legal representative to monitor or record the examination. The Suffolk Lawyer is a Suffolk County Bar Association publication, which features current legal topics written by SCBA members.
