Partner Rebecca Devlin Named as LIBN 40 Under 40 Recipient
Lewis Johs partner Rebecca Devlin was named one of Long Island’s 2019 “40 Under 40” by Long Island Business News. Since 1998, Long Island Business News has taken nominations for outstanding members of the business community on Long Island who are 40 or under. These future leaders of Long Island have already begun to distinguish themselves in business, government, education and the not-for-profit sector. They have a proven track record of career success, are involved in mentoring and promoting their profession and find time to give back to their communities.
Rebecca joined Lewis Johs in 2006 upon her graduation from law school and was named partner in 2018. She represents clients in all facets of casualty defense litigation, including construction accidents, premises liability, products liability, municipal liability and vehicular negligence. Primarily handling high exposure cases on behalf of insurance companies and self-insured clients, Rebecca assists with the trials of cases, and supervises the handling of cases throughout Long Island, Upstate New York, Rockland and the five boroughs of New York City. She approaches representation with a “leave no stone unturned” mentality and is sought out by many clients for her tenacity.
