Associate Caroline Hock Obtains Case Dismissal for Municipal Client

Congratulations to Associate Caroline Hock.  She successfully defended a municipal client by opposing a motion made by an injured plaintiff.  The plaintiff’s motion had sought leave from the Supreme Court, Suffolk County to file a late notice of claim against the municipal defendant.  Caroline demonstrated that the property involved in the plaintiff’s alleged accident was owned by a private company and not by the municipal defendant.  The Court denied the plaintiff’s motion and the matter was dismissed in favor of Caroline’s client.
