Summary Judgment Successfully Obtained by Thomas Cicillini

Associate Thomas Cicillini obtained summary judgment, on liability grounds, in a personal injury action venued in Nassau County Supreme Court.  In this premises liability case, plaintiff sued for personal injuries allegedly sustained when he was struck by a falling shelf while working at the premises.  In his motion, Tom argued that, pursuant to the terms of the lease,  our client qualified as an out-of-possession landlord and, further, had no prior notice of any dangerous condition existing at the property.  The Court agreed and dismissed the case as to our client.
