Olivia R. Porter is an Associate in the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Trusts and Estates Practice Groups.  Olivia’s practice focuses on all aspects of commercial and trusts and estates litigation, as well as guardianship matters.  Prior to joining Lewis Johs, Olivia practiced at another Long Island firm assisting individuals and businesses in all stages of litigation.  Olivia also served as an Assistant District Attorney in Nassau County where she tried multiple cases to verdict.

Olivia earned her J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University where she was a member of the Hofstra Trial Advocacy Association and was awarded the school’s Child and Family Advocacy Fellowship. Olivia also received Hofstra Law’s Gold Award for public service after completing 750 pro bono hours. During law school Olivia served as Judicial Intern to the Honorable Joanna Seybert, United States District Court Judge for the Eastern District of New York, and was an extern at the New York State Office of Court Administration, where she assisted the Chief Counsel in drafting policy proposals. Olivia received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Hofstra University.
