Robert’s practice focuses on a wide range of matters in which he represents clients in all facets of litigation, including construction/labor law, general liability, premises liability, vehicular negligence, commercial litigation, and criminal law.  Robert also focuses on trial practice throughout of various venues of Long Island, New York City and Westchester.

Prior to joining Lewis Johs, Robert was an associate at a general litigation firm focusing on insurance defense, personal injury, and criminal matters.  He oversaw a team of attorneys responsible for managing a large caseload from inception to resolution.  Robert also drafted and argued appellate briefs before various departments of New York State’s Appellate Divisions.   Prior to and during law school, he was employed by and interned with the New York County District Attorney’s office and, upon graduation, accepted a fellowship at the legal affairs office of the New York City Department of Homeless Services.

Robert is a member of the Queens County Bar Association and the Nassau-Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association. Robert also volunteers his time judging mock trial competitions for not only law students, but aspiring law students in both high school and college. His biggest joy, however, is volunteering to coach nearly all his daughters’ sports teams.
