Partners Present Lecture to Resident Physicians on the Deposition of a Defendant Physician in a Medical Malpractice Action.
On June 26, 2019, founding partner Frederick C. Johs and partner Scott O. Frycek presented a lecture to Neurology residents and medical students at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center regarding the Deposition of a Defendant Physician in a Medical Malpractice Action. The presentation explored medical malpractice actions generally, the approach and preparation for a deposition, and important issues and themes that commonly arise during examinations before trial. Specifically, the lecture addressed issues referable to documentation and the EMR, informed consent, and quality assurance/ peer review.
