Conrad A. Chayes, Jr. serves as Senior Counsel at Lewis Johs Avallone Aviles, LLP, focusing his practice on the defense of physicians, hospitals, healthcare systems, and academic medical centers in malpractice litigation. He also represents healthcare providers, large residential properties, and municipal entities in general liability cases across the New York metropolitan area. Additionally, Conrad has extensive experience defending medical and dental practitioners in licensing and disciplinary proceedings before the New York State Office of Professional Medical Conduct (OPMC) and the Office of Professional Discipline (OPD). 

Before joining Lewis Johs, Conrad A. Chayes, Jr. was a partner at a prominent Manhattan firm where he focused on defending malpractice and negligence claims. He earned his B.S. in Accounting from Siena College and his J.D. from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. During his time at Siena College, Conrad gained valuable international experience by clerking for a leading law firm in London, England. He is admitted to practice law in New York.
